We are happy to announce our try-out information for the upcoming 2024-2025 Fall/Winter season.  Try-outs will take place at FIT Courts in Cedar Falls.  2nd-4th Grade try-outs are Tuesday, August 6th from 5:15pm-6:45pm.  5th and 8th Grade try-outs are Tuesday, August 6th from 7:00pm-8:30pm.  6th and 7th Grade try-outs are Thursday, August 15th from 5:15pm-6:45pm.  All participants MUST REGISTER IN ADVANCE.  You can register online at https://go.teamsnap.com/forms/439889.

Location:  Try-outs will take place at FIT Courts in Cedar Falls (924 Viking Road).

What to Bring:  Players should bring a pair of gym shoes to change into, comfortable shorts, and all players will receive a t-shirt upon arrival and check-in.   Players should also bring a ball to warm up with before try-outs start.  Drinking fountains are on-site, but players can bring a water bottle, if preferred.

What to Expect:  Players will be divided by grade level for try-outs.  They will perform various skill and drill exercises before eventually scrimmaging in a “game feel” environment.  Coaches will be on-site and take notes for each player.  Approximately 1-week after try-outs parents can expect to hear whether their player made a team.  We will likely form multiple teams per grade level, placing players in an environment that is the best fit for them and their team.  For the Fall/Winter season we typically expect 2-3 teams per grade level.  The top team may play in club level tournaments across the state.  The second team may play in a mixture of appropriate club level tournaments or more challenging school level tournaments.  The third team will likely play in more local, school level tournaments.  The goal is to put each team in the best situation to be properly challenged and drive development of all players.
